The economy of places like California would plummet overnight. If these 11 million people were white Canadians, we wouldn't hear a peep out of him.

It seems to me he is just playing to the lowest common denominator here...good old fashioned racism and discrimination.

No Sandy, Germany did not deport illegals they deported unwanted citizens. As far as I can see Trump has not said he wants to kick out all Hispanics, in fact far from it.

Stop trying to twist it.

Yes Carson is a weirdo, a religious weirdo. He is a Member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a religion invented in America about 150 years ago.

Almost as nutty as the Magic Underpants lot.

He thinks the Grand Canyon was built 6000 years ago ! He also thinks that Americans holding millions of guns is a really idea as well.
But many Americans are religious nutters. We sent them there years ago.

Personally I wouldn't vote for either but then I came back from the USA as it really wasn't for me.

YMB...I would love all that lovely sunshine in California and the cheap food and petrol, but its that awful beer that would finish me off !

What's the difference between Bud and Bud lite ( they can't even spell properly) ?

.......Bud Lite has even more water added to it !
I was working in New York/New Jersey (Brooklyn). Beer was just as bad there. You could get Bass but it was worse than it is here.

Couldn't get any decent bacon either unless you paid a fortune for Irish imports!

The US is not for me at all. They are quite a different culture.
It's perfectly doable. But the economy should be ok because one can't do it overnight in one fell swoop. The rafts have to gradually be built, then they have to decide which part of which ocean to take them and cast them adrift. It all takes time.

OG...lol !
The secret lies in this statement taken from the report.

/// all migrants living illegally in the US must be
deported. ///

Not a mention of Nazi type round-ups or racial discrimination as some have already so dramatically mentioned.

The Lefties on this site seem to side with those who commit illegal acts, and before they all jump up and down, yes entering a country illegally, by it's very definition is an illegal act, should we not imprison Bank robbers?

But we are not talking about imprisonment here, just sending them back from whence they came, as we in this country would like to do, but then we have other rulers across the channel that tell us they deserve a family life etc, etc.

I heard this man speaking on the TV last night. Somehow I had always managed to avoid him before. At first I thought it was some comedian impersonating a republican candidate.
All I can say is: if he is elected president, we're doomed Cap'n Mainwaring :-)
Mikey, whenever there is an issue with immigrants, you always cry 'racism'. Why are you so keen to encourage and accept all and sundry regardless of the negative impact that some of them have on their adopted homelands?
Part of me thinks that running as a candidate is merely a vanity project by Donald Trump.

He has the money to finance his own campaign, so he is not beholden to any backers to say and do as they wish, he can, and does please himself about what he says.

The way he comes out with these lowest-common-denominator knee-jerk provoking statements which clearly have no possible hope of fruition, but are guaranteed to stir things up at the sharp end strikes me as the actions of the man who is using his considerable fortune, and personal profile in order to have a little fun at his fellow candidates' expense.
It's the practicalities AOG, not support of illegals. In a perfect world one could wave a wand and the illegals (who wouldn't be there anyway) would all be transported to where they should be. In the real world, you have folk without papers so you can't be sure where they should be; nor are you necessarily going to get permission from the country you wish to deport them to, to pass them over. I disagree it is racism necessarily; even without considering race the issue would exist. And it is correct discrimination between those entitled to be there and those not. Not all discrimination is wrong. But the solution suggested is "playing to the gallery", and seems more a fantasy than something that could be actually done. (Even ignoring the cost.)

"Mikey, whenever there is an issue with immigrants, you always cry 'racism'. Why are you so keen to encourage and accept all and sundry regardless of the negative impact that some of them have on their adopted homelands? "

Ive asked the same of him and others on here numerous times, but they never answer...they just want to fill the country up with pefererably anybody but white english....
"I disagree with your statement on white Canadians. Many Americans dont like them either, especially the Frenchies. "

Quite so. And in case, Mikey, if these 11m people were white Canadians they would nearly all be in Canada.
@bazwillrun

I frequently imagine that the inability to speak out against immigration is a function of the person concerned not wishing to lose dozens of friends by expressing such untrendy views out loud.

Not necessarily *in favour* of an untrammelled influx, just powerless to speak out against it.

If that person's friends are concerned with keeping him "on message" rather than expressing his views, perhaps he should consider who his friends are. My friends and I argue interminably over many issues (this included) but none of us would consider censoring any of the others because of their views.

What Magic Underpants lot?

Even his own Party and its supporters doesn't agree with him :::

"US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump wants to deport every illegal immigrant from the United States. The other Republican candidates say it can't be done - one called it a "silly argument".

And the majority of US Republican voters disagree with Mr Trump: according to a 2015 survey by the Pew Research Center, 56% believe undocumented immigrants should be allowed to stay if they meet certain criteria.

So, it seems that he has put his foot in it yet again. No wonder most people on here thinks he will not win in 2016...he is just a loud-mouth buffoon.
Political advertisements in the US don't pull any punches. Imagine a Spanish language advertisement, funded by Friends of Hilary for President, showing images of people in cattle trucks(footage from Germany in the 30s would do nicely) and a voice-over asking:'If you vote Republican who that you know will you be helping to deport?'.
