If this is true, then only speeding drivers will get caught, so I am not certain what is wrong ?

We live in the East Riding and there are certainly plenty of tractors! The roads are also generally narrow and getting past a tractor is an art form (it helps if you know the farmer!). There are some real loonies who will try very dangerous speeds to get past. I have no problem with this.

Speaking of sneaky cameras, I heard today that a patent has been filed for mini cameras inside those cats eyes road markers...

I consider this to be a fist class move and that the only people who are likely to kick against it are the lunatic drivers who think they own the road and only consider their speed when seeing a Police car or a camera.

Secret surveillance of citizens is wrong in principle. Any decent person would kick against it. It's another step to a secret police state. Countries probably sleep walk into such things and not realise until it is too late.

OG - It is a way to catch the hypocrites - those who speed when they think they might not be caught. The results of maniacs driving only hits home when it affects others personally.
