I don't think that the records are that tied together, with good reason. If on one, say welfare, it doesn't mean that they're on another such as an illegal immigration list. Anyway if not claiming and if not illegally employed, chances are they must turn to crime to live. Unless they have generous family/friends here.
yes it will . thats why everyone should wake up and vote UKIP to at least try and stop mass immigration to uk.

before you critisise ukip or call anyone a rascist etc just look at bradford, tower hamlets, birmingham, leisester . look at the muslim grooming gangs rotheram/burnley/rochdale....and dont dare tell me im wrong about that !!!

You really believe that do you ummmm?
To answer your original Q, AOG, No, the UK will not suffer as Italy has reintroduced border controls and France has also heightened patrols on its southern border. Many of them turn to crime and the Italian people are becoming increasingly sick of the situation.
If you want a few facts and figures, this article is good:

Yes, I do believe that. How are they going to claim benefits if they don't have an NI number?

They will be claiming no doubt about that, they will also be working illegally (cash in hand)
Would you care to read my link AOG before commenting further?
I know someone who was here illegally. He couldn't even see a dentist...let alone get benefits.

He's legal now.
AOG Germany has at least 10x the number of EU migrants that do, even with the larger area their problem is far greater.
The Calais problem is due to illegal migrants who are from outside the EU and have no right to enter the UK. That is why they try to stow away. If they do get in (and I know they do) they can not claim benefits as they are illegal and 'under the radar'. So your 'milk and honey' does not apply to them.
Despite what politicians say we will never be able to do anything to stop EU migration as it is the basic underlying principle of the EU and the very reason for it's existence.
Obviously we can never know how many illegal immigrants there are but leaving the EU would not effect the number of illegals wanting to get here.
As to leaving the EU, polls show that if a referendum was to be held today the 'stay' vote would be at least 15 % larger than the 'out' vote.
AOG, that last link is very interesting. Have we moved on from your original Q, or are you just moving the goalposts, again?

Where did you get your figures from? because this is what I found.

*** Opinium found a total of 48% would definitely or probably vote to leave under present rules, while 37% said they would definitely or probably vote to stay in. ***

No, just addressing another posters query, that is allowed isn't it?

There are always going to be some who don't possess the 'knowhow', or have the contacts, just the same as some of our home-grown benefit recipients, some do not know how to apply for the benefits that they are entitled to, whereas others fraudulently obtain benefits that they are not entitled to.

Of course it's allowed. It would also be polite to have the maturity to acknowledge people who post something pertinent to your OP. Even if it does show that your rantings are, once again, misplaced.
He knew people and got a job. His employer helped him become legal. He's never claimed benefits in the UK.

How hypocritical can one get to prove their point, either you trust everything you read in the Daily Mail providing it fits your agenda or you carry on slagging it off for constantly giving false information.

Notice that I provided my information from the Guardian which many on here class as their 'Bible'.

And incidentally it is not my beloved Daily Mail as you put, I post from most on-line newspapers, I admit though that I mainly use the Daily Mail simply because it is the nations most popular on-line newspaper, so there must be a reason why it is.
AOG ^^^ thanks you have just proved my point better than I could have ever hoped !
