Not if AB is anything to go by....

This is my views on the culture of respect http://www.spiked-online.com/Articles/0000000CAB4C.htm

What the government can do is support what people want. I have banged on before about it all being down to good and bad manners and a refocussing on the rights of society, by which I mean all of us, counterbalancing the rights of the individual.

I believe that things are cyclic and that phases do come and go...maybe this one has hung around for a bit too long!

This is another case of a failed government backtracking when it realises that previous policies have failed.

Many of society's problems today stem from the fact that this government has removed power from the police and teachers to instill discipline and admonish offenders. They even want to extend this to the home environment by banning parents from smacking naughty children.

Why can't these woolly minded beardy types see that their social experiment failed years ago and restore discipline in society.

It is absurd that teachers for example have to endure verbal and even physical abuse and cannot fight back.
