We often hear our police (plods as some wish to call them) criticised on AB's new section, but we hear very little praise and understanding towards them regarding the constant danger that our police face on the streets of 21st century Britain on a daily basis.

Is that the correct link? Says nothing about a shooting, only that she was injurred, probably by a car.
The arrested man has a Nigerian name. Perhaps if he or his parents had never been allowed in the country, this poor police woman would not have received minor injuries while performing her job.

If you had read my post instead of looking for criticisms, you would not have failed to notice that there is the original link under the headline.
I was recently on holiday and had an enjoyable lunch encounter with two young London PCs. Their frank and candid accounts of life as London Bobbys were very disturbing and I have a great deal of respect for them. I don't know how they do it, but thank goodness they do.
Yep, I bet its no joke having to confront situations we all avoid, especially with one metaphorical arm tied behind your back.
