I don't have any sympathy - every year I feel sorry for the bulls, it's not their fault.

Stupid eejit
Apart from the Animal cruelty aspect, is it any different to one racing round a race track in a car or motor bike?
This happens every year. I'm sure newspapers simply dig out and reprint old copy, only changing the names of the victims to make it seem it's up to date!!
My only sympathy is with the bull, no-one minds dangerous, idiotic pastimes, but killing the bulls afterwards is cruel and unnecessary, so no sympathy from me, although in his defence he did says he didn't realise that happened.
Yes, AOG, people are not allowed on the circuits so are not in danger of being mown down by said cars and bikes.

On the subject of the guy being trampled; stupid is as stupid does. Still, i dare say he got the adrenaline rush he was looking for.

.

I thought "Corrida" meant that everyone had a bull run ( before they killed them ). They don't - it is only Pamplona.

Big Thing - you get a cute white suit and a red bandana....
athletes do it - coz you have to run very fast and if necessary leap over the hoarding ( 9 ft I think)

and you have to do it in front of the bulls - not like you know a minute or so before they clatter down the street. - but just in front - eek ! and you have to miss the other runners....

and it is viddied of course - and played on Thpanith Tel. And if the bull hasnt given the fella a good going over that year, they play good viddies from the past - including deaths !

I used to be somewhat more adventurous in my youth DB but now that I am 61 and therefore closer to death than I was in my teens and 20's, I value life that much more !

I don't really blame this chap for wanting to do something exciting, animal cruelty concerns aside but its his naivety that is stunning. He is 23 years old, not *** 13 !
No sympathy whatsoever.

Afternoon Lie-in King...we don't often see you prowling around in the News section !
I feel sorry for the bulls who are slaughtered in the ring.

With this, or bullfighting, I'm on the bulls' side.

Hello in this part of Spain it is classed as a sport. Car and bike racing get the connection. No? I thought that might be too much to ask.

A little more of a clue would you feel sympathy for anyone who fell off their horse fox hunting?

Still not sunk in? Tough
The whole point is the animal cruelty, aog.
