If I was pushed to say something, than I would admit that he does look very fetching. //

But who will volunteer to FETCH him ?

WR.
I'd fetch him, Ron....a man with a bit more about him than many...suits me very well....☺

Who carries out the examination prior to the investiture?
Camilla?
AOG, I can't see the problem. If the royals have no objection, why should you?

\\\\\\If the royals have no objection, why should you?\\\\

That is an interesting question.

Would the Queen have accepted a transvestite appearance?...I doubt it.

How do you know what the Royals think, even if they did object do you really think that they would be allowed to voice an opinion in the PC world we now see ourselves caught up in?
Didn't the Queen sit next to the guy in a kilt and no knickers for a photograph?
AOG/Sqad, I don't think the royal family are as easily shocked as you two seem to think.
gness.......the Queen always wears knickers.......
^^ Haaaaaaaaa!
I was being facetious really and have nothing against Princess Camilla. Still, it was a rare opportunity to make such a joke so I thought I'd take it.

I don't see a problem with Grayson Perry, or anyone else, wearing what he likes, within reason, so long as it's appropriate for the occasion. That was quite an appropriate dress for the occasion. Far more formal than some of the stuff he usually wears (and it's his specific choice of clothes rather than the general idea of his dressing in women's clothing that bothers me). It's nice to see such barriers being broken down; transvestites carry a social stigma that is really rather unfair -- and to see someone be treated with respect by one of the highest people of the Land surely will help to remove that stigma. So well done Grayson Perry for not turning up in a suit but sticking to his personality.
I'll take your word for that, Sqad.....I wouldn't be at all surprised if you knew that for sure....☻

and you have highlighted the nub of the problem......."within reason" and "appropriate for the occasion"

Not all, share your or my opinions.

Sqad
mikey.........I would believe ANYTHING today.

I am still getting over the gay who went to a club, met a lesbian and inseminated her twice at her request.

I will soon be "not of this earth"...................am I bovered? //

Quite so Sqad, brace yourself this could be the next stage

WR.

Ron.....LOL....LOL....LOL very good.
It is a pity that it is not necessarily a joke......
is Camilla a princess ? I thought she was a mistress for a while.
It would be surprising if Grayson Perry did NOT turn up at a grand or important function wearing a dress. Can you who think it is wrong explain why?

And you are privy to their thoughts and feelings are you?
