Morning all. xxxx As usual, it's taken me ages to get online. My old steam powered laptop is DEFINITELY ready for the scrap heap. Will have to got out for a new one next week sometime. More expense. Oh joy.

Yes, it's all a bit nippy this morning but no frost YET. Don't think it's too far away though. Next week, they reckon it'll be a bit chilly around the old turnstiles. Still haven't put on the heating yet. Putting it off for as long as possible. The energy costs are high enough but I REALLY hate the VAT and the standing charges added to the bill. Abolish both these items amd maybe people can afford heating !
I have to go and shoogle my flab at Zumba this morning 8-9. That should warm me up nicely. Then I'm meeting friends for brekkie for a couple of hours.
Then boring food shopping, then home to rant and swear at my crusty old
laptop. Sooooom quite a fun packed day for me! What are you all doing today?

hi all. sed to see you all. am having bad trouble with internet today so will just have to say: thank you to you all and will reply to all my emails when i get back as i am off for the weekend to exmouth to see my favourite marine. he sounds as though he needs a bit of a break. hotel booked for me and oh and now we are off. see you all. take care.

I agree about the standing charges and VAT jan. It would make a difference if they were dropped.

I've got some shoplifting to do, then settle down and watch the rugby. :o}
