Ehrman Tapestry Kit
I have bought a tapestry kit from our local charity shop and the instructions are missing so I cannot tell if it is cross-stitch or half stitch. The kit is by Ehrman and called Copper Beech by David Merry. The kit number is EHR 640. There is a picture but I cannot tell the stitch used. I beleive it is a cushion front. I have tried Googling it and looked on the Ehrman site and I am none the wiser. Anybody able to advise please?

If it's Ehrman tapestry it will almost certain not be cross stitch. None of their kits I have worked before have used anything other than single tapestry stitch.

You could ask them for a duplicate set of instructions http://www.ehrmantapestry.com/ContactUs.aspx
.. in which case this is the stitch I'd expect to use, half cross stitch
Like boxtops, I've had Ehrman tapestries and they've always been half cross stitch worked in wool.
