Has anyone got today's Daily Mail?

On the front, Katherine Jenkins says she sleeps with her eyes open.

Obviously I didn't buy the paper, but I wondered...

Is she speaking figuratively? ... like she's always on her guard?

Or does she mean literally? ... like, she sleeps with her eyes OPEN?

Because that would be weird.

Could you imagine waking up in bed with her, and she's lying there with her eyes open???

Cripes alive!!

Wait a sec jj, this is FRONT page news????

Slow news day?
Its not that uncommon JJ. People who have this issue have to be very protective of their eyes as they can get dry at night or scratched.
"Could you imagine waking up in bed with her, ..."

erm, let me think
And, yes, it is creepy.

PS my dog does it. Sometimes his eyes are also rolled back in his head so only the whites show.

Don't be shy, your computer won't blow up or anything like that, if you must enter a Daily Mail story, it is so easy to obtain the link.

It's in the Telegraph, too?

The Telegraph describes her as an "opera singer"

Has she ever sung an opera?
Mamyalynne

Problem if you enter a Telegraph link, they only allow you to view it for a few seconds, before they are asking you to subscribe to their site.
apologies
One person does not sing an opera Jayne - she sings operatic arias amongst other things.

Not sure of her operatic stage performances as such.
Question Author
That's what I meant, Mamya.

I know she's an "operatic" singer, and sings arias from operas, but, as far as I know, she hasn't sung a role in an opera. Or has she?
My eldest daughter sleeps with her eyes open sometimes, it used to freak me out when she was little.
/// One person does not sing an opera Jayne - she sings operatic arias amongst other things. ///

I am sure Jayne meant to type "in an opera".
\\\Opera singer Katherine Jenkins told how she suffers from a rare condition\\

///Nocturnal Lagophthalmos///

//which affects about ten per cent of the population,//

I have never heard of it OR come across it.

I wouldn't describe 10% of the population....as rare.

Where do these statistics come from?
I can confirm that she does sleep with her eyes open.
Question Author
Morning, AOG ...

"in an opera" does make it a bit more clear, yes.
Question Author
lol fred
"Nocturnal Lagophthalmos". Treatable by taping your eyes shut. The things I learn on here.
