Yes, in my view it was - because it wasn't abhorrent. It's plain and very conservative. If he thinks that's 'abhorrent', what adjectives would he use to describe Lady Gaga's wardrobe.

Free schools have found to be highly successsful in Sweden and it's logical to try them out here. It's too early to judge them most have only been in existence for a matter of months.
However Faith Schools are another matter they are divisive and emphasise the religion over other aspects of the curriculum. They have jumped at the chance to get the state to pay by calling themselves a Free School. They pretend to be Free Schools by having an open admission policy but then have restrictive entry requirements.
State funding of education is chaotic.

by the state. They do that by calling themselves a charity , which can be as little as having a few state pupils submitting some school work into a competition once a year.

why do we have any faith schools, ban them all, then tell all the kids to learn their ABC's together, perhaps then we might have a lot of integrated people instead of this botox of separate identities and constant nit picking.
