For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.They haven't mentioned the pretty obvious link between this being a reprisal attack on the day of Lee Rigby's funeral I would think because just at the moment they'll be too concerned about trying to calm both communities down so there aren't further acts of violent stupidity and officially linking it at such an early stage ( however obvious it is) will only inflame things.

it's mentioned in the first paragraph, as it had in many papers, and indeed on the tv news. I am glad there was no one hurt in the bombing, whoever did it was vile.
