do any shops I buy or sell video tapes anymore? I've got loads of movies on DVD that i'm clearing out and want to know if anyone would buy them off me or if I should just dump them in a tip

Even charity shops wont takes VHS tapes any more.
I had to bin loads when I had a massive clear out a couple of years ago. You could try doing a car boot sale but even then I think you'll find them hard to shift.
You could pass them on to a care home.

They do near me in Aldridge, when I see any that I fancy I buy them & then transfer them to DVD ( VCR to DVD recorder) then give them back to charity shop for them to resell.
You can also still buy some VHS tapes on Amazon uk & ebay.

The charity shops round here stopped taking them several years ago. The local cancer research one has a notice on its door"Please do not give us video tapes as we only have to dump them "
