I think it's just some Sabre rattling Ann.
North Korea is just full of bluster BUT just the other week, there was an outage of South Korea's main broadcasters and banks, and that outage was immediately blamed on North Korea; it now transpires that China was probably responsible for it but a knee-jerk reaction to something like that in times of tension could easily result in some real action taking place.
He's a jumped up little twit who is being controlled by his generals. They just want to ensure their cushy lifestyles continue and the "1000s" of supporters are paid to demonstrate or do so because they know better than to say no.

That said, China should put a bit of control on him.

I think (hope!) that this is more about Kim Jong-Un's standing inside North Korea than outside it, making him look a strong, powerful leader fully capable of filling his father's shoes. It had better not lead to anything violent, and if his generals had any sense they would know that it's a hopeless cause to try anything. Not least because China isn't on their side this time.

I think its just posturing, not sure he has missiles that can reach the US anyway.
I know it was only after Pearl Harbour, but the Yanks did come and help the British in World War 2. Why the comments against them?
I couldn't believe my eyes when I read your post Steve.5.

Standing up to America calls for dropping an atomic warhead, with the deaths of 1000's of innocent lives does it Steve.5?
Steve, //I`m with you keyplus. //

You sure about that? Rather you than me.
I wonder if the yanks have been in touch with Cameron about siting some missiles or radar in Britain so the N Koreans can target us instead of the US.
