Speaking on a general basis, men like to love and they like being loved in return. Trust is also an important factor. Men want to make a home eventually, so the potential for a life partner is important. Most also seek feminine and gentle qualities.
In a relationship, mind your manners, and that holds true for both men and women. Hygiene is one of the critical things. Try to look neat. Just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean you can start packing on the weight. Remember to work as a team.
Three main things you don't want in a relationship is someone who can't be trusted, someone who puts himself 1st all the time with no regard to you, and someone who can't be on time or never does what they say they are going to do. Moreover someone who is dumb.
Telling lies or omitting pertinent things about yourself is the number one thing to not do.

Not really a general business though is it,according to your OP - If you are planning to speak about human relationships on a general basis, should you not also include the other 50% of the population - should you not also be suggesting what women might like, what they are looking for?

And who says most men seek "feminine and gentle" qualities? All in all, I would suggest your life lessons are more than a little patronising....

I think you need to work on your advice before you can consider yourself an authoratitive life guru.....
Ewww that reads like a bad dream frankly.
Mind your manners? Hygiene? How very dare you, highbrow. From what lofty stance do you toss us this random advice?

What lawyers call "quiet enjoyment" ! Meant to apply to leases, but, heck, a relationship is a lease (including, for all I know, those bits about not harbouring "notifiable diseases" and maintaining fixtures and fittings in good order)
thanks factor, I hadn't spotted that
