Answerprancer, say what you mean and don't let considerations of political etiquette hold you back. :-)
ps. did you sort out your tremolo in the end? ;-)
Just expressing my opinion, as AB's resident fascists say, Sandy ;-)

/// Just expressing my opinion, as AB's resident fascists say, ///

And we all know that the anti-facist brigade do not like others expressing their own opinion.

Here on AB generalities like expletives are meaningless and in fact show up the vacuity of the poster. Fortunately when we use them we can be challenged.
That's what's needed with UKIP they should stand their ground
in debate by debunking/disproving their opponents, something N Farage seems unable to do effectively. He also needs to acknowledge that some arrangement, if possible, with Europe could be desirable rather than total rejection.
At the moment UKIP comes over as a one policy party which is a dead end. They like all the other mini parties still harp on about AV and PR
which is also dead and won't be revived for another 20 years.
"And we all know that the anti-facist brigade do not like others expressing their own opinion".
Incorrect yet again, I shall explain once more:
No one is trying to remove your freedom of expression, but if you are going to continually upload potentially inflammatory posts that express anti-humanitarian intolerance, then you have to accept some strong opposition and swallow it. After all, by doing this you are asking for opinions and getting them, if you don't like the answers you get, then maybe you need to ask yourself why you relentlessly post this stuff (I think I know why).
"Here on AB generalities like expletives are meaningless and in fact show up the vacuity of the poster".
Ah the old "people who swear show their limited use of the English language" argument. Stephen Fry explains this one rather well I think.
Modeller, I could philosophise and pontificate until the cows come home and what's more I think you know it but sometimes short sentences with a bogus four letter word included can say it all IMO. I for one don't think that UKIP deserve anything more than a short sentence with the "C" word in it as I believe they are nothing more than the BNP with longer hair and nice suits.
Answerprancer : There were 18 mature answers to the original question and then your analytic five word tome including one expletive for further research and consideration.
Don't worry if the BBC has anything to say UKIP will be in-they're in every other political programme.
“I for one don't think that UKIP deserve anything more than a short sentence with the "C" word in it as I believe they are nothing more than the BNP with longer hair and nice suits”

I know you are aiming to be a little less sophisticated and a bit more succinct, but I really don’t know how you can say that, AP.

No need to dig too deeply, but just focussing on the issue of immigration, from UKIP’s “Aims”:

“UKIP alone holds that the rescue of the British people depends on withdrawal from the EU to regain our self-governing democracy so allowing the relief of business from crushing regulation and the less well off from the burden of taxes, shutting off the flood of immigrants and freeing enterprise.”

Do you really equate that with the racist bile that spews forth from the BNP? It may not concur with your Utopian vision of a nation which opens its doors too all-comers. But it hardly warrants “a short sentence with the "C" word in it “

If you believe that immigration (least of all, unfetterd immigration) is good for the well being of the UK then UKIP is obviously not for you. But to place UKIP on par with the BNP is not a sound argument, succinct or not.
// sometimes short sentences with a bogus four letter word included can say it all IMO. //

Tw*t.
Hi Modeller.
re:

If you consider my "five word tome" to be immature then you shouldn't have any difficulty subjecting it to "further research and consideration".
I eagerly await your critical analysis.

Please discuss (in detail) your reasons to negate (or support) my allegation that UKIP are a) a bunch of c**ts and b) that they they are nothing more than the BNP with longer hair and nice suits.
Hi Ludwig - please discuss, how was I being a "pudding"?
("twát")
..and if this has to be reduced to mud slinging then please receive a re-cycled "C" word form my original post here :-) maybe with an additional "W?NKER" thrown in just for fun! Also, please take a sloppy cold fox-turd laden snowball from my back garden in the mush!
Oh dear ! It's tantrums now .

It is not the answers that bother me, but it is your need to add insults and other expletives to your replies, as already pointed out to you by other posters.

Incidentally my reply was appertaining to your suggestions about fascism on AB. and in no way opposition to bona fide answers in opposition or otherwise.
// Hi Ludwig - please discuss, how was I being a "pudding"? //

Blimey, you were up late AP. I'm happy to discuss it. I just thought your very first answer was a bit childish, but this one was spot on...

// sometimes short sentences with a bogus four letter word included can say it all IMO. //
Ah ok, Ludwig.
So Modeller, are you able to answer what I just asked you?
The trouble is AnswerPrancer it's not possible to build on sand foundations.
