Actually, that's not so long in our judicial process - things can take months and months to come to court.

Markos? Never been called that before... :-)

the entire story has not been in the news at all for a while.
i assume therefore that the search for the girls' body continues.
Next Court appearance due January.
I just wish they could find the little girl. It makes you want to beat it out of him.
This is the most recent information I could find. Turns out he's actually distantly related to April's family...

excelsior-1, yeah, I've been following the search for her. It makes me so sad :(
Mamy - January? Really? Jesus! I wonder why so long.
AYG - yes, totally! I know what you mean. Sick bastard!
Markos - Thanks for the link. I'll have a read.

Really? Why though? If they have the evidence they need, why wait so long?

Thanks Markos :-)

He is. Absolutely :-)

That's just how long it takes, although it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be...

Oh really?
You know lots...
// It makes you want to beat it out of him. //

Why wait for a trial at all. Lock him in a cell with a length of rope.
Yeah lets take every person being held who may or may NOT be guilty and beat a confession out of them.

Civilised not!
Give him a "truth" drug injection eg: sodium pentothal to try and locate the poor girl.

might work and if it doesnt plod wont be in a worse position.

Against his human rights...couldnt give a damn
Sodium pentothal doesn't work in any meaningful way, people talk, they answer questions but not always truthfully and not always do they mention anything you're interested in.

It's a bit like lager then, Nox?
Mark has been rumbled.
Now we all know his real name is Markos Raepanopoulos
"might work and if it doesnt plod wont be in a worse position"

hence the above.

at the moment theyre searching all over the place, based on what ?

if he gave them even a handful of locations, it would be worth looking into, theres nothing to lose, and they may sadly even come up trumps.

i'm sure if he did trawl out anything, plod could work out whats total garbage and what isnt and what may be worth following up.

what have they got to lose...nothing
Well firstly he may not know if the police have got the wrong man.
Secondly, we shouldn't advocate giving anyone a drug to make them answer questions. Particularly someone who, as yet has not been proven guilty of anything.
Thirdly, if sodium pentothal is not effective, it is possible he could give a location which is completely untrue, thereby taking away police resources from the directed and meticulous search they are currently undertaking.
Ok, how about 10 pints of Nelson then? Would that hurt his 'ooman rights?
