It would be nice to know that their benefits (which we pay for ) is spent on feeding and caring for their famiies instead of drugs and booze. There are programmes in place where people can go for help with their addictions.
Good idea in principle but how do you stop people exchanging the food for booze or drugs.
I saw a young mum trying to exchange milk tokens for cans of special brew so, I dont see how this would work,
I thought claimants already got vouchers instead of money and your average drug dealer would not accept them as legal tender.

There would be nothing to stop them buying food and then selling it, using the proceeds to buy drugs.

And Oyster Card System would be very expensive to buy and operate especially if it were to be rolled out across the country.

This is just another cretinous, ill thought out, bonkers scheme from the Tory Right wingers, and it will deliver little reward.
