/// But it's their culture? ///

And a mix of cultures can only enrich our society, so we are constantly told.

Scary isn't it?
//Scary isn't it? //

Yes it is - and that's the reason Islam is the only religion that ever has 'ophobia' tacked on to the end of its name. It's well earned!

It seems 11 years, £20billion and more than 300 British dead in Afghanistan were for nothing.

We did not go out there to change their savage inbuilt attitude towards women, mores the pity.
Actually we did. One of our many objectives was to see off the Taleban.

The Afghan attitude towards women isn't strictly a Taliban thing.
I thought the liberation of women in Afghanistan was one of the reasons for being there. I notice that many of the other aims have also been dropped.

So out mission iin Afghanistan has been a total flop and the 400 British lives lost and thousands injured have been a complete waste of time. By being their until 2014 just prolongs the agony.
Afghan women are surprisingly liberated post-Taliban rule. The continual wearing of the burkha is to keep the dust off there favourite outfit.

'Savage inbuilt mentality towards women'...LOL. I know many, many Aghans, and I also know who wears the trousers..........
truly despicable crime, shows you what our soldiers are up against, time we got out of Afghanistan.
Life has no value to Muslims it appears.
no it seems not. This is not the ordinary Afghan though, but the Taleban, who don't seem to want to be part of modern life, or am i missing something.
There are 2,200,000,000 muslims in the world. And about 36,000 are also Taleban. To portray them as typical or representative of all muslims is incorrect. They are very extreme, as we all know.
