My friends partner is away at barracks doesn't give her any money towards bills or rent but she can't get help because he's registered with the army at her address, she is about to give up her home as she cannot afford to live on her wages alone and is also a full time student can anyone suggest any help she could get before giving everything up ?

I suggest that she impresses upon him the need to contribute to her house as he is 'registered' there.............or she removes his 'registration' herself and claims the benefits, etc. to which she is entitled.

If he is in barracks, that will be his legal address. He can have a 'home' address but that is essentially where he stays when he is away from barracks......
agreed - if he wants a place to go away from barracks, let him pay towards it
