A policeman's lot is not a happy one.
I suppose we can be thankful the victim was white otherwise London would be in flames again.
PC Harwood was a brutal thug who resigned from the Met to avoid being sacked over beating up a man while off duty. He was then allowed to rejoin Surry police as a civilian , he was then transfered to the police force again and faced more disciplinary charges for violence .Despite this he was allowed to transfer back to the Met and put on crown control with a riot baton and taser. He should never have been allowed to rejoin the police in any capacity let alone as an officer on crowd control, I believe he has something like 8 disciplinary hearings on his record and there must be many more that never made it to a hearing. He will be dismissed from the police and there will be an enquiry as to why he was allowed back in. However I do agree that what happend was not murder , but it was another example of his violent nature
I can just imagine how Mr Tomlinson's family feel now! Dreadful.
