Has any one used their products? Are they of good quality?
I'm considering their veggie Glucosamine, and Omega 3 liquid. Both seem to be very well priced.

Yes I used to buy the Rose Hip tablets for arthritis, they were reasonably priced and as far as I know well sourced. I found their postal service reliable too. It's about three years ago but I imagine they are still good value.
Have used them for years. Well priced but to update redribbon from 1st April they started charging postage- minimal and the same however much you ordered. Fast delivery too.
We use their Glucosamine and Omega 3 fish oils. They are excellent and very quick delivery - can't fault the company.
I often wonder how you tell if these supplements are ok or not. Is the affect that dramatic ?

Also if you opt to take one, don't you end up wanting to take all to avoid neglecting some aspect of yourself ?
Yes they are good. You may find SimplySupplements just as competitive
Healthspan are OK - qood quality, good service, reasonable prices (although some mainstream products will be cheaper at the supermarket).

Whether herbal/vitamin/complementary products work is a different question. Some have a good evidence base (although rarely from randomisd controlled trials) others are 'snake oil' and 'smoke and mirrors'.

Omega 3 seems to have some reasonable evidence, glucosamine is a little less certain - but at the suggested doses neither will do any harm.

Gingko is the one I take - it seems to have a statistically significant (just) benefit in warding off Alzheimer's for certain groups of people - and again it does no harm except to the wallet.

Thankyou for all your answers.
I've taken Glucosamine in the past-sporadically. But I always seemed to notice a difference when I'd not had any for a few weeks. I stopped them last summer,as my symptoms had decreased quite a bit. Now-they are back with a vengeance-so I will try the tablets again.
Mrask used to have Glucosomine tablets on prescription, a couple of weeks ago we got a letter from the GP practice saying that they were stopping the glucosamine as they believe that glucosamine was ineffective. I think this is a bid to cut costs. He can buy them from the chemist for as little as £1 but I wonder how effective these cheap ones can be.
