Well it seems some MPs are not very happy over this, but what do you think?

it's just ministers rather than MPs, isn't it?

I prefer my MPs to be decently paid; otherwise the only people able to enter parliament will be wealthy Eton old boys who know nothing of voters' lives. But I'm not fussed what ministers are paid: if they think the rate for the job is too low, they don't have to take the job.
They (Ministers) get GREAT pension packages.
They can take the cuts.
Payback time .. and about time too.
On a salary of £63000+ its about 6%, but then its all relative. 6% to average Joe public is probably about £1500. The only difference is that Joe public doesn't get the same holidays and has to turn up every day not just when he feels like it or gets whipped and lets not go down the expenses/receipts route

Yes that is correct jno, but ministers are MPs also are they not?

Note that I said 'Some' MPs.
Sorry, only had a quick glance at the article, but it would appear they will be costing us the same in salary and pensions contributions, but they will have to contribute more to the pension fund.

No tax payers money will be saved, just the allocation of the money will be different.
