Clearly they are concerned she's a sandwqich short of a picnic- if the remand was for her own protection then that would have been the reason stated- judging by the video I think they may be right.
We have all assumed she's drunk or on drugs, but what if she was perhaps a paranoid schizophrenic, should she not then be properly evaluated not only because of her disgraceful behaviour, but also as a protective measure both for herself and for her child. Mental illness is a terrible thing which can take away all normal personality traits, and whilst I think what she did and said was truly appalling, I'd prefer to wait and see if there is an underlying mental health reason for her behaviour before I start preparing the gallows.

I think Abu Hamza and his like, pose a much more dangerous threat to the security of this country, than a drunken woman spouting off a few un-niceties on a tram.
