Knowing how the traders behave the yoofs may have more than the old bill to contend with there !

Of course there will be and why not? There are millions of pounds of free goods electrical/sports to be taken from anywhere you want, free food, a carnival atmosphere and you get to fight/abuse the police and upload it onto youtube for all your mates to see, it's the perfect teen summer holiday
our Birmingham office has been "evacuated because of rioters".. not a notice I ever thought I'd see!
There's rumours of gangs around Bold St in Liverpool but not sure if that's just hearsay, there's been a fair few rumours banded about up here.
so happy to put your twopenny worth in, but that's it. We are not quite so fortunate, so far we have had police in the locale around two am this morning, but that's quite usual if you live around here, i do know some shops like Vodaphone were targeted yesterday.
Had to laugh, I've seen a picture, can't remember where from, of looters looting a Poundland!!! I mean, I ask you, Poundland??? LOL
It just goes to show their mentality.
Times are hard Boo!
Nothing like that ever happens in Bacup.
Boo doubt the people who have to clear up the mess will be laughing their socks off.
I don't know whether this has been mentioned elsewhere but the person who was shot in Croydon last night has died.
"Boo doubt the people who have to clear up the mess will be laughing their socks off. " Well it wont be you, will it Em!
They are talking about using plastic bullets, so what is the difference??
Do they hurt??
you're kidding right Groms? This happened on the next street to me on Saturday night....

I can assure you the warnings have been issued to the building managers in the area.

Of course nothing kicked off so it may not come to anything.
no smoke from Birmingham yet..... but i would guess Handsworth is pretty much locked down I would guess it will be like the old days shops shut at 5pm
I have colleagues in Canary Wharf though No one's told me anything about Hordes Of Marauding Youths, google doesn't come up with anything either. Surely Hordes of marauding youths in the banking capital of england would be plastered all over the news?
Boo already said i wouldn't, but can't see you or anyone else getting their hands dirty either. The people doing the clearing up probably will be the poor shopkeepers, and those people who have lost their homes, well what can they do, but be terribly upset.
I thought I was far enough away from London but just reading on FB that a load of rioters have arrived in Hastings by train. Morrisons has just closed it's doors.
Hastings? Lol, maybe they've got off the wrong stop jan1957 unless you have a large currys and a large jd's there.
i work at bluewater and live 2 mins away they are on top alert there today!
