Can we get some clarity on AB.

When Barack Obama was elected President of the USA, there were a number of posts where it was pointed out, "He's not black...he's mixed race".

However, Mark Duggan, who is also of a mixed background is suddenly referred to in a number of threads below, as a 'black drug dealer'.

Can we get a concensus on this?

Did I spell 'concensus' correctly?

Black is black in varying degrees of colour, from light brown to pitch black.
a b/f many moons ago, wasn't black, he was dark brown, he wasn't mixed race either, well he might have been had he known more of his ancestry, who knows, but if i put him next to a colour chart he wouldn't have shown up as black. I wouldn't have done it of course, as that would be an odd thing to do. Pigeonholes, that's people for you, it's why there is so much trouble still in the world, everyone does it, many without realising it.
Like most people of mixed race, they consider themselves to be black, and are always going on about getting back to their roots.

Most of them have never seen Africa and have no wish to do so.
Like me, I have no wish to go to Africa!!
Dont we all hail from Africa ?
maybe, no one knows with 100 percent certainty, like life, no sure thing.
It's 'biracial' not 'mixed race' these days
Also there is the 'one drop' theory that people like Halle berry subscribe to.
She has three White grandparents but considers herself black
