There are some news worthy items that seem to get totally ignored.
I know that some are not worth making a fuss over, but some things like
the hospital nurse who is in custody, and may have murdered at least five people, two who died today i believe, hasn't been mentioned on AB, or at least i don't think it has.

i think shes white isnt she? not the norm for news items with white folks ;)
At the time of the Joanna Yeats murder in Bristol there was lots of mud slung and fingers pointed as ABers were buffeted hither and yon by the British Tabloids......

Perhaps they are now older and wiser and will wait until such a time as the 'arrested' turns into 'charged with murder' before they start with the character assassination, this time?
it's probably because she has been arrested but not yet charged em?
or has she?
that doesnt usually stop folks bobbi
like jth has just said, there was a mass posting about the guy who was Jo Yeats landlord, he turned out to be innocent
yeah i saw that... i was thinking of the treason one too... not sure there were many facts to that one.....
so why didn't you come in the thread about it?
and say as much

I Had not seen previous post, nor character assasinated anyone, just mentioned it because i hadn't seen anything on it.
Safiya, what does that mean because she's white, what has that go to do with
anything. And that is why i put "may", there has been no word as to her being charged, the girl could be totally innocent, but seems to have been in custody for a while now.
Character assassination is not confined to News items............ABers can character assassinate at will and at any time.
and do sqad:-)

be that as it may, there have been lots of stuff on the politicians, murdoch, scandal, and quite a lot else, but some of the bigger things go by the by.
Or maybe someone does post, but gets few answers, so it just disappears
AB is a very strange place at times em..LOL
All these patients apparently had terminal illnesses - perhaps someone was helping them along - I believe insulin overdose induces a peaceful coma.

I'd sooner go that way than having a team of medics taking away my dignity, filling me full of tubes and giving me electric shocks.

Bobbiesox, so it would seem
Go on - somebody say "it can be arranged" ho ho
I know what you mean venator but the law has to be applied but I am with you on it
<<<In one picture, Leighton is seen downing a bottle of wine.
She adds: ‘Well what can i say, im a happy go lucky kinda gal, loves the wkend (if im not workin) and having a laugh with the people that i call friends [sic] for a reason.’
She describes her job as ‘NHS staff nurse’, but adds, ‘god it hard work x’.
The page is littered with entries about not looking forward to work – in one, posted two weeks ago, she wrote: ‘Back to work in the morn’ followed by an unhappy face symbol.
Ahead of one work night out, she wrote: ‘Oh what will tonight bring... drunken nurses!’
Last Friday – the day after police were called in – she posted: ‘This is what it’s all about’.>>>

Nursing is still a vocation then.
would I venator? not to you :-)

The people concerned are someone's loved one, and its not for anyone
to play God. There was no information that i read, that said they were all terminally ill, and even if they were, that would be up to the individual and their families as to how they manage their last days.
