He swans around the World dishing out our hard earned cash to all and sundry, while his own country is wanting.

Nero fiddling while Rome burned springs to mind.

£20 a year ?

ok, so i sponsor a child it costs me about £20 every month,on another thread i mentioned that if i popped to my local pub for an hour, it would cost me about £20.

i wouldn't begrudge anyone.

Somebody should inscribe a plaque saying "Charity begins at Home, when you can afford it" and stick it on his desk.

He needs a psychologist to fathom out why he is more concerned about looking good on the world stage but cutting to the bone for people who live in Britain.
Surely this debate isn't about where charity begins ....

but about where it stops?
We seem to have a perverse government that is willing to spend money on schools and roads in a foreign country but neglects the same in it's own country.
