he's also talking about making squatting a criminal offence, excellent, what do we think? Obvious BGB chances here for the first one that mentions....you know what!

I though the 'reasonable force' against burglars had been in place for a while. I know I'd give one a kicking!
Definitely agree with making squatting a criminal offence too.
I think because austere measures are being brought in i.e benefits etc. burglaries will be on the increase, so, yes we have a right to defend our homes and families. As for squatting, any force needed to kick them out.
me too, like the one you ransacked my home, i would quite cheerfully have murdered the little broccoli. As to squatters, time some of the lazy bstards who squat on someone's land, proclaim their rights, and settle in for the duration were kicked into touch.

As I understood it "reasonable force" is allowed currently, well in theory, but that does not seem to be refelected in what actually happens. Householders have been sued when criminal scum Injure themselves breaking in F_F_S!

Reasonable force has been part of our law for a very long time. Tony Martin is mentioned in the Express article - I suspect where he went wrong was shooting the fleeing burglar in the back and then leaving him to bleed to death. This is not licence to beat the living daylights of a burglar and I cannot see how things are really going to change.
change s*** to broccoli, ed couldn't you have come up with leeks or something.

barmaid congrats, you get the BGB, not for Terry Martin but for the "in the back bit". Irrelevant bollux, it was dark it was not a concious decision.
give them a gud kicking, when i was 8 months pregnant last year, i burgled whilst i was in the house, i live in leicester my husband was working in york. i phoned the police then my husband, guess who got here first, the police said they couldnt send a officer as the burglars were still on scene and wasnt safe.
Question Author
All you do is phone up and tell them you are being burgled and you've just brained one of them with a spade, they'll be there in 10 seconds, yes, to arrest you!
never thought of that one R1geezer,
victims of crime have been long overlooked, its time that someone made it clear that we won't put up with it anymore. I would have twanged the little toerag that did it, the uniformed policeman who turned up 12 hours later, looked about 12, and said there was nothing he could do. The detective who did surface two days later wasn't any more help, we were just another in a long line of burglaries that day, thanks

another BGB for jno, W_T_F has his politics got to do with it?
Three incredibly lucky shots then............
Question Author
he shot 3 times they were running away, think it through!
excuse me, is that not a political story in the Express?

"David Cameron hit back at allegations that his Government is soft on crime"

"Labour moves flopped"

No, no, nothing to do with politics at all!
ive brought a samurai sword now, if it happens again i have my child to protect, whatever the cost, and yes as all parents i would do time and kill for my kids
Question Author
yes but we are not talking about what you think Mr Martin's political leanings are. I might as well bring Stalin into it!
