How has this illegal immigrant managed to live in this country for 22 years, not only under a false identity, but also pretending she was white when it was obvious she wasn't?

Apparently she refused to give her proper name or from what country she came from to a court of law, I think in cases such as this she should have been given a stiffer sentence than the nine months she got.for the fraudulent use of a passport, after all she is in this country illegally.

She will no doubt serve about 5 months, then be allowed to stay in this country, so she and her partner, TV and film producer Tom Henderson, can live happy ever after.

/// immigration officers finally spotted that she was black ///

Now that would have been very difficult to do, I would imagine.
That's the idiot who wrote the story up..........not what actually took place.
JTH

<<<<..no being mean to the oldies.......they don't like it up 'em, you know. >>
Same unacceptable rhetoric.
sorry this is getting out of hand, the story is that she stole the white womans ID by means of obtaining a copy of the real Mrs Keats birth certificate back 1989, and was able to obtain a passport and other documents, in the name of Carol ann Keast, so armed with sufficient identification she got her passport, and just added her own photo
Thats how it reads, i have no idea, its loopy, but the authorities are also looking at whether she has been involved in other types of fraud, benefits that sort of thing. blimey.
You have obviously confused me with someone who cares about your delicate sensibilities.........

The internet is no place for delicate flowers, sqad.
You are right JTH...certainly not on AB, but the Ed team do not seem to care about "sensitivities" particularly when the line is crossed by one of their own.
Sqad, I'm afraid the Express has led you just the teensiest bit astray with its unique standards of reporting.

<sits in shocked silence>

The issue arose when the real Keast applied for a passport and was told she had one already. Once that was sorted out, the alert went out to watch for the other 'Keast'. She was duly apprehended.

It was nothing to do with anyone at Heathrow saying 'Hang on, aren't you supposed to be white?' Nobody had failed to notice anyone's colour. This is nothing to do with colour or race.

I do hope this hasn't spoiled anyone's day.

I thought Sqad, of all people, would know that we're all much of a muchness under the skin...
no it isn't to do with colour, but a fraudster who just happens to be black getting away with it for so long.
Bless.........are you really deeply wounded? Or just striking a pose?

Sauce for goose/gander, etc.............

And now jno has provided the accurate facts of the matter for your education.

(P.S. I may be multiskilled and much to be admired but I'm NOT part of the Ed team, I'm afraid. Sorry about that.)

Explain please.
JTH and i will thank her without the JTH/jno standard sarcastic trademark.

jno...thanks it would appear from your post that the passport photograph was of a negroid woman.
When the scalpel gets past the skin, isn't everything in there the same no matter what colour of skin the patient has?
sandy....where have i denied that?
Am I missing something here? Sqad has never given the impression that he judges someone by the colour of their skin....
'still refuses to reveal her real name'

.....then lock her up until she does

I'm sure her memory will soon return then
Apologies, Sqad. I meant to say that you would know that people were all the same. Wasn't implying anything else.
which is what i said, way back when. AOG is just stirring, but that seems to be quite common
yes, it was of a negroid woman - of the fake 'Keast', in fact. There was nothing in the passport to say that she was not, and the photo matched the woman with the passport, so nobody had any reason to stop her - until the real Keast turned up, and proved her identity. After that, they put an alert out for someone calling themselves 'Keast', and found her.

Nothing to do with colour or race, except in the minds of the Express and its readers.
