why, thank you. I voted by post. I now realise that this makes me better fitted to live in North Korea.
Me too. I have to vote by post because I'm the daft sod who has to man the office today while everybody else is f*annying around at the polling stations with their bl**dy ballot boxes - AND getting paid extra for it.

no doubt you're house bound jno! But the real issue is that postal voting is so open to abuse that it really is a failed experiment.
I didn't abuse it. So why is democracy not for me?
my 86 year old mum has a postal vote because she cannot walk nearly a mile to the school where the voting is taking place and no-one offered her a lift

All the parties have a lift system. At least 2 mates of mine have been running people to the polling station today. Try again
I've never heard of a lift system.

Very nice R1....very nice.
you're getting abusive, Geezer. Might I guess that the prospect of a hung parliament in which many recounts and even reruns will be called for is starting to scare you?

Not at all, just disturbed that so many thick people have the vote, or rather not it would seem. No doubt idiots wil go on whinning Ameican style for ever if the election does not go their way but hey that's the way of the world!
// No doubt idiots wil go on whinning Ameican style for ever if the election does not go their way //

I can only see one idiot whining on here.

just enquiring Gromit why people seem to care so little that they can't get off their fat arses and vote, not difficult is it?
Geezer.....I'm a fit and healthy 30 something. The day that changes might be the day I look into how I can get my vote in.

Telling me to 'shut the fcuk up' about something that isn't relative to me makes you an ignorant prick.
The postal votes in York have gone missing.
one one thread you're whining that they didn't turn up in time, because the booths were overcrowded.

On another thread you're whining that postal voting is allowed, though this is the obvious solution to the first problem.

You're not a happy bunny. And I hear a Green MP looks set to be elected. That'll really make your day!
The Greens claim to have won Brighton.
Well you do have a bee in your geezer bonnet tonight bless, if all the people who postal voted had turned up this evening then the queues would have been even worse. You are indeed on a loser and may you never be housebound either. Good luck.
something to cheer you up Geezer - not long ago heard Tory politician tell Dimbleby that postal votes benefit Tories more than the other parties
