I am feeling uncharacteristically ruthless, cleaning wise, and have decided to shred all non essential paperwork from the study. I just wondered how much stuff (bank/credit card statements, pay slips, etc) do I need to keep.. is a couple of months enough, or should I keep a year or two's worth..?

I'm obviously nesting in preparation for the arrival of Perry the Pussy cat.... ;-)

Hi hippy x
nothing like a good shredding session! I used some shredded stuff today to fill a gap in the skirting before filling with wood filler!
someone once told me it was 5 years for bank statements, and pay slipsand one year for credit card statements.

Tell us about Perry the Pussycat, I love cats......
