Hi there,

Got into a stupid situation the other night and stupidly overreacted. Cut a long story short, on the way home wtih 3 friends, stopped for food, 3 guys came up calling my mate a ginger t#at. Mate didnt back down, they didnt. One guy pushed another one of my friends first . He then retaliated with a headbut and punch. I jumped in to help him ( I did not know he'd headbutted himm at this point). I tried to knee that guy a couple of times. Then when he backed of f we left him. I went ot help my other 2 friends that were in a tussle with the other guys. I pulled one off and then went to pull the third guy off. He fell to the ground and on his way upp I kicked him int he face 3 times ( dont know why, just stoopid of me). Thankfully I did not hit hard at all and was with my left foot, not a stomp but still not good. Thankfully no blood was drawn form that guy. But the inital guy that got headbutted has had to get stitches, caused by my mate. We are all hardworking and have never offended.

My question is even though I was stupid enough to overeact it doesn't look like I actually caused and bleeding and it would be hard to say if I caused any of the bruising? I say this because the other guys I was with seemed to connect where as I was a bit off target on the cctv.

Where does that put me with my ABH charge?

I know we should have walked away and let the trouble makers go on, but we overeacted like idiots.
