--------A spokesman for the Islamic Society of Britain said: “99.999 per cent of Muslims despise these people. This only serves to fuel racial tensions.”-------

If this rally is allowed to take place in London, will we see a substantial contingent from this 99.999 per cent of Britain's "peaceful Muslims" taking the streets to oppose this "minority"?

8 out of 10 cats preferred Whiskas...but they didnt all get it.
No I doubt it

Most people in this country Muslim Christian or athiest won't get up and take to the streets

They'll stand around and tut loudly - It's the British way.

You seem to have strong views - when did you last take to the streets?

To answer your question, the way things are going these days, yes if I was younger.

I doubt if the anti-fascists will be in attendance to cause havoc towards these Muslim fascists, but I think that The English Defence League would be every much within their rights to be in full attendance on this occasion.

Now I have answered your question Jake, will you give me the honour of answering mine?

Do you oppose everything that these Muslims are demanding?
They have the right in this country to have a rally, and as their religion is a peaceful one (so we are told) there won't be any trouble from them, so let them march - because, let's face it, they've about as much chance of having full Sharia law in the UK as I have of having a three-in-a-bed romp with Angelina Jolie and Liz Hurley.
I agree with flip_flop.Let them march, they have absolutely no chance of their demands being taken seriously here in the UK.

---------" they've about as much chance of having full Sharia law in the UK as I have of having a three-in-a-bed romp with Angelina Jolie and Liz Hurley"------------

Don't go too far away from home, I think Angelina and Liz are on their way sooner than you think.

But seriously, I say both to you and daffy654, when they have gained in strength through sheer numbers, who is there to stop them?

Not the laid back, tolerant and naive non-Muslims.

But eh! If you want an end to democracy, an end to man-made law and the end of the depravity of the British culture, all British women to wear burkhas, the statue of Nelson to be removed and demolished, British people who commit adultery to be stoned to death, and anyone who becomes intoxicated by alcohol to be given 40 lashes in public, and to brand the Army homecoming parades a “vile parade of brutal murderers”.

Then report for duty alongside your Muslim friends, you are in for a whole new world.
Slightly of course mrgit but did you see that there are now 1.4 billion muslims in the world?
They will be everywehre soon!
The issue here is not: should people like AOG march against the sharia law mob? I think what AOG is getting at is that if 99.999% of muslims oppose this then it is their religion that is being hijacked by a "minority". So if they are indeed in the 99.999% they would naturally want to put the records straight. However as we know from history most muslims behave moderately perhaps, but underneath they would support an Islamic sharia state and as such are in favour. It's a bit like me, not really a football fan I watch the odd game etc but I would still like my side to win the world cup!
I suppose to tar all Muslims with the same brush is a bit cruel. But who was it who said the problem really lies with Islam and classed it as a evil religion. Its a pity Geo Bush and his axis of evil put his finger on the wrong enemy.

Yes, let them march! Boris has just put the congestion charge up, along with train & bus fares, so it may make even make a few bob for the capital. ;o|

All very well smudge, but aren't they exempt of all charges?
Mmmm - better not get too embroiled in that AOG!
~I think that article is disgusting - and frightening. The fanatics seem to relish in stirring up trouble and try to distance relations between religions and races even more than they are now.
If they want to live under Sharia Law - then they should F&*% off and choose a country that follows it already.

Surely this wont ever be allowed to happen - this kind of article is just scaremongering.. but to me -it works.. it worries me...

There is enough racial misunderstadning and hatred in this world already
I thought I had answered yours "No I doubt it" seemed pretty clear.

And yes of course full sharia law is completely out of the question in the UK as much as if the Church of England were campaigning to make atheism a crime.

These guys are a tiny minority - crediting their views to all British Muslims is like trying to portray the IRA as representing all Irish people or Arthur Scargil's Socialist party as representing all British people

Since the dictionary definition of Fascism is : Oppressive, dictatorial control. and the support of Sharia Law is also Oppressive, dictatorial control. I would have thought that the Anti-Fascist League would be in opposition to these Muslim marchers.

But hey! It will be interesting to see who will be in opposition, I would think that all those who love and support our country would be the only ones eligible to protest against those who wish to change our country beyond recognition.
"The women are then inspected to see if the firmness is natural"

It's a dirty job.......
