...the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines plane. Could this be an indication that they believe that Xinjaing separatists may be involved?

I do hope not but I did wonder - is it still believed that the plane went missing over the sea?
Probably a suspicion rather than a firm belief.

The talk of increased airport was mentioned on Radio 4 this morning. It's just over a week since this happened so they've good reason to be vigilant.
