hi all. i posted a question the other day about a song i heard in Wales about 12 or 13 years ago. jaydj said it might be a particular mix of Insomnia by Faithless. i have two new questions now. 1-is that song really that old? and 2- i dont have a clue about the internet. does anyone know where i could search for that song online with a view to listening to it to see if it is the one i'm looking for? as i said the other day, it's a dance/ravey song that starts off with cool vampire-ish church bells. thanks

Hello guyaman. The song(s) you are looking for are on the Reverence/Irreverence CD by Faithless. It was made in 1996 and is a double CD with a different version of Insomnia on each CD, both starting with the same 'haunting' church bells. Insomnia and Insomnia (Moody Mix). You can listen to snippets of the album on the HMV website by clicking on the album cover, then clicking on the songs you'd like to hear. http://www.hmv.co.uk

i got the Faithless album you told me about Wispy68, but it wasn't the song i was looking for! Insomnia (moody mix) on cd 2 starts off with Big Ben style hourly chimes. i've been reminded by someone who was with me in Wales all those years ago that it wasn't bells at all at the start of the song, but a church organ! so back to square one! i'll post another question about it now. thanks for your suggestion though!
Sorry I couldn't help you with that guyaman. I've got four different versions of Insomnia, so thought one of them must be what you're looking for. I wonder how many different 'Insomnias' there are!! Anyway, best of luck in finding it!
