As Jem said, it should be a song that means something to both of you, bit pointless when you're shuffling round the dancefloor if your groom says lovingly in your ear "what's this song?" or worse "Gawd this song ia dreary"

It doesn't necessarily have to be a slow song does it?

i sometimes help out d-js with wedding ,last wedding shine by take that,teenage wedding chuck berry,thing called love by queen ,but i would go by whatu both like as a lot of new couples have there dance song cheesy due to feeling shy and have too admit it can be very enjojable
