I`m half-way through my jury service and once again the defendants keep on giving everyone on the jury the evil eye, why do they do this when it`s us who decide their fate?

That`s backfired then
Who can do jury service? is there a criteria you have to meet? dont let them get to you

Stare them out, shake your head sadly and then pretend to write something down
Give them wink and mouth 'Guilty'; at them then laugh silently

I`ll pass on staring them out, a guilty verdict packs more punch

Blow them a kiss
Raise your hand & say loudly "sir, he keeps staring at me"

Jokes aside, I`m not intimidated by it even though I see them as I`m driving home when they are walking to the train station, (god knows why they are not on remand)

It just amazes me how they think it will do them any favours, I might chuck them a soap on a rope the night before the verdict lol
