I saw Demis Rousso ( I think the spelling is wrong) In Rheindahlen Germany in 1969 he was playing in a band called Opus 21, I think that was the number. He wore a kaftan and the whole band were very Greek. They were also very good.

Do South Yorkshire and rude go hand in hand?
I saw Jakki Deg and John barnes in Kandahar in 2006. Obviously when given a choice between a fat bloke and a Page 3 model, most blokes (especially those who've spent six months in the desert with only a magazine and the occaisional donkey for company) would choose the model.

Barnes couldn't understand this and threw his teddies out big style at the lack of attention. Good times lol
it was 1974 before he released his first English version and managed to get on TOTP, by then we'd been back to Spain (Sitges) and discovered this really genuine hot sext spanish singer, except that he'd dies a year earlier, who was that? i can never remember his name, but he was gorgeous lol

My gran loved Wilfred Pickles
I entered a competition in The Sun to see Demis Roussos in concert (in Spain I think).
I didn't win, but got a runners up prize of one of his LP's. I like his music, you can really sing along to it. At my sisters works do one year (fancy dress)they had a fat bloke with a beard wearing a Kaftan going round with a tape recorder under his frock
and a microphone in his hand miming to Demis Roussos.
My granny loved Branston Pickles.

Yes he does Dot. Some music/songs of the 6's/70's sound dated but not that one. I listen to Magic 828 every morning between 10 and 11am, you have to guess the year and email in. Clues and music no prizes just the satifacttion of getting it right.

I used to hate Demis Roussos in the 70s - and 'Abigail's Party' didn't help either.
Then I got into Vangelis and heard some of the stuff he did in Aphrodite's Child and now have much more respect/appreciation.
