thanks for the answers so far........ No, instrumentals dont count, To qualify they have to have at least ONE spoken or sung word in them. like for instance...... "song for guy" by Elton john. And it has to be top 20 hits of the 70s, so the "ketchup song" and "Grocer jack" dont count as Factor30 has pointed out! thanks again.
