How do you remove lime scale from a mirror that has lots of spots of it?

Try using a limescale remove such as 'Limelite' or 'Viakal', both are very good.

White vinegar is very good for removing limescale

Vinegar will do the job but perhaps a more pleasant way of doing it is with lemon juice. Just wipe over with a cloth dampened with lemon juice.

Also works a treat with kettles
