Teardrops?

hey i'd like to know the name of a song but dont have many details on it!  its quite slow and melancholic there is a very heavy bass line with a softer acoustic guitar riff playing continuously on top.  i cant make out the lyrics as the singing is quite muffled, but it is a girl and i think she says teardrops at the start of it? it was at the end of hollyoaks on thursday last week? any help deeply appreciated!! ps its not the song that goes teardrops in my eyes- reminds me baby of you!

Yep, Teardrop by Massive Attack.  Female vocal is by Beth Gibbons from Portishead, a great fusion of the styles of the two bands methinks.

i did not see the programme but elton johnsang a duet with a female artist late eighties on his duets album it was called footsteps on the dance floor  it went footsteps on the dance floor reminds me baby of you teardrops in my eyes
