Steve Norman from Spandau Ballet.

It refers to a Monty Pythom sketch - the Piranah Brothers, a skit on the Kray Twins. Pinpointing Ron Kray's paranoic schizophrenia, the Python team envisaged one of the Brothers imagining he was followed about by a giant hedgehog named Spiney Norman.

Steve, sharing the same surname, got the nickname.
