Can anyone tell me who wrote a song I remember from my school days. The first lines were,

"T'was in a blithe green wood
Lived a Hermit wise and good
And the folks from far and near"

I know it's a long shot, but it's driving me mad.

"Hope the Hermit"

Words by John Oxenford (1812-1877), set to the traditional tune, "Lady Frances Nevill's Delight" (mid-17th Century?)
