Possibly the greatest Northern Soul record of all time. Do you agree?

Totally agree, I absolutely love the lyrics in it too.
Great tune. Surprised no-one's done a remix.

And what about Dobie Gray -Out on the floor

And Skiing in the Snow- ( I liked Wigan's Ovation's later version)

And Dean Parrish - I'm on my way.

Fantastic!
I just love Martha Reeves and the Vandellas - Heatwave. My feet won't stay still when that's playing.

Edwin Starr - 25 Miles is way up on my list too
Agreed Darbo but I also like the Chris Clark version....

Factor30 I also agree with you on the Wigans Ovation but i'll throw another couple of songs in there for you:

Spencer Wiggins - Lets Talk It Over and Breaking Down The Walls Of Heartache by Johnny Johnson and the Bandwagon......
I really like 'Please Operator' can't remember artist off hand. Loved Wigan's Ovation, Reminds me of my youth - better days!!
Supposedly the rarest and most expensive 7" vinyl in the world too if my sources are correct. Im sure it was in the Guinness book of records as being only two original copies in existance and one went for some silly amount of money that was a few years ago so i could be totally wrong now!
A great tune though!
