whats wrong with my ipod

can anyone help me with this problem.
Everytime I put a album on my ipod it seems to copy to my ipod 4 times, so I have the same album on 4 times but the strange thing is it dosnt take up the memory of 4 albums just the memory of 1. But why is my albums copying that many times on my ipod. i have tried restoreing my ipod but it still dosnt fix the problem. my music still plays ok so thats a good thing.
