In the original line-up the bass player was someone called Youth. He left in 1982 after the first three releases, at the same time as founder Jaz Coleman. Youth joined Brilliant for a while and is now a dance producer

Youth was the original bassist. He now produces everyone from Bjork to U2 and runs the Dragonfly trance label.
