Sorry but this is very vague. Looking for the title of a Dance song that has the line "and the DJ keeps playing" or something similar. Can anyone help?

Sounds like Red Alert by Basement Jaxx to me. That has the line "and the music keeps on playing on and on" Could that be it ?

I have been thingking really hard and think the lines go "Please/Hey Mr DJ won't you play my favourite song" - and then something about dancing - It is NOT JLo!! It is from way back when - early 90's I think.
