Billie Davis in 1963 and Hello in 1974. great song.

Think the original American version was by the Exciters - probably 62/63.

Gosh, I remember the Hello version very well. Hello were great fun, very camp. I think I still rememeber all the lyrics.

And nobody remembers the Quentin & Ash version. I don't blame you.

Hello also did "Back in the New York Groove" - and the singer Keith marshall did "Only Crying" in '81.
