Fanfare for the modern man - ELP

Not that mod but I have always thought it is a good "occasion" piece
I think some music from the film Stardust would be nice, or use the theme song TAKE THAT- Rule the world......thats what id use!
Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture ?
What about some Jean Michel-Jarre?

Rendevous part IV for example (it's probably on youtube, you'll recognise it when you hear it)

The ELP track is a good suggestion too
Having been in the firework trade (Iused to make them and fire shows for a living), I would suggest that it might be a good idea to split the music to either half classical and then more modern upbeat towards the end of the display. This does tend to please a greater variety of people.

The 1812 has been done to death.

You might consider "Hooked on classics", a mix of famous classical but with a beat, similar is "Kimera and The Lost Opera", opera with a beat.

Upbeat dance music is good for the end, one suggestion for the last track being:

Healy & Amos - Stomp

Do you have the fireworks already sorted, if not I can recommend a company for you?
